I’m Rachel, a photographer working predominantly with 35mm film. I focus on people, pets, and places as they are — unposed, in natural light, and without pressure. I shoot slowly and simply, aiming to make images that will last a lifetime.

Why Film

Film brings me closer to what’s real. I choose it for the way it feels - the texture, the slower pace, the way it holds light. Film holds  a quiet depth to it, something that is perfect in its imperfection that carries a sense of timelessness with its subtle vintage flair. Film has planted in me the desire  to capture the spark in all living things — the pure essence of who or what’s in front of me.
